Upon my visit to this beach, I would say that El Matador Beach is a picturesque beach! I believe it is the best beach to take sunset photos because it has amazing background views including large rock formations.
If you are looking for a fantastic beach for sunset, El Matador Beach should be on your bucket list.
The Beach is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and open on other days of the week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Carbon Beach
Also known as the Billionaire’s Beach, Carbon Beach is located in Malibu, California. It is among the most secluded and quiet Beaches in Los Angeles. At the moment, this beach has a Google Rating of 4.6 Stars after several Google Reviews.
One of the best things about Carbon Beach is that it is less noisy when compared to other beaches such as Surf Rider and Zuma. Another good thing about this beach is that it offers free parking along PCH and it has a visible walk-on pathway.

Venice Beach

Manhattan Beach is located on the Southern Bay region of Los Angeles County. It is the heart of Manhattan Beach City.
Upon my last visit last month (February 2024), I would say this is among the Best Beaches in Los Angeles because of its family friendly atmosphere and world class ocean-view dining restaurants.

Point Dume State Beach
Point Dume State Beach is one of the biggest beaches in Los Angeles County. It has over one mile of ocean frontage with 34 acres of pristine sand.
Generally, I recommend this beach because the waves are always calm and it is surrounded by cliffs and rocky coves which offer the perfect background for a photo.
Another good thing about Point Dume State Beach is that it is has several amenities including; restaurants, restrooms, showers and over 350 parking lots.
Finally, Point Dume State Beach is among the Best Beaches in Los Angeles because it is a hub for so many activities including hiking, swimming, scuba diving. diving, and surfing.

Topanga Beach
Topanga is the first real beach in Malibu. It has over 1 mile of Ocean frontage. My first visit to this beach was back in 2015. To be honest, this beach lived up to my expectations and all the hype I had heard about it.
If by any chance you are looking for a cool beach where you can be able to surf in Los Angeles, Topanga Beach should be on your bucket list. Asides from surfing, Topanga Beach is also a good spot to sun bath, fish and scuba dive.
Topanga Beach has a total of 96 Parking Spaces and it provides beach wheelchairs.
Point to Note: Do not swim at Topanga Beach as the waves are very strong to a point that they are capable of breaking cobblestones and the reef.

Paradise Cove
Paradise Cove is a romantic beach that is best known for its great view and amazing nearby restaurants that serve tasty cocktails and calamari. Its also a good spot to sun bath, surf, fish and meet new people.
On the downside, Paradise Cove is an expensive beach to park your car. On average, it would cost you about $65 to park your car here.
Hack: To get reduced parking fees, order something from the restaurant. Your parking fees will be reduced to about $10 – $15
Playa Del Rey Beach
