At first, he thinks that someone may be trying to pull his leg, as he owes gambling debt, but later finds out that his kidnappers are terrorists, and they are on a quest to extract information about the President from him.
Chyler Leigh plays Molly Reins, his estranged wife. The terrorists also kidnap her and place her in the trunk of a different vehicle. They threaten to kill her if she refuses to cooperate with them. The movie is a rollercoaster of betrayal as the terrorists tell Jeremy that they are, in fact, not terrorists and that they are working with the President to test him and see whether he breaks.
